The North Dakota Lottery has awarded the contract for its advertising and marketing to H2M, a Fargo marketing and communication company.
H2M was selected from among five firms that submitted proposals.
H2M will create advertising campaigns to brand the state lottery and its games, create a lottery Web site and handle promotions and public relations, according to its president, Dave Hanson.
Chuck Keller, director, said the lottery has an annual advertising budget of $300,000, and that H2M would bill the lottery for each piece of work it does.
The launch of the lottery's first game, Powerball, is scheduled for March 25, with Hot Lotto and Wild Card 2 scheduled for later in the year.
