Fargo's garbage collection schedule may vary as about half of Fargo's Solid Waste Department staff helps fill sandbags at Sandbag Central.
Until further notice, residents are asked to place garbage carts out for col-lection by 7:30 a.m. on their regular garbage days, a city news release said.
Carts should remain out until at least 5:30 p.m. because crews may empty them later than usual.
For Monday's President's Day holiday, garbage collections will run as scheduled.
