The Fargo Jaycees will host the Pepsi Pitch, Hit and Run Contest Saturday at Casselton (N.D.) High School field.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., with the competition beginning at 9 a.m.

The program is designed to encourage youth participation in baseball and allow youngsters to showcase their pitching, hitting and running abilities. The competition is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 14.

A birth certificate or baptismal record is required for participation.
