FARGO — Authorities here have filed charges against Dustin Ray Fredrickson, of Fargo, accusing him of having sex with a minor nearly a decade ago, according to documents filed in Cass County District Court.
Fredrickson, 31, faces one felony charge of corruption of a minor for allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old girl between August 2010 and August 2011, court papers state.
The victim told authorities Fredrickson would force her to have sex whenever they would meet and threatened to release nude photos of her if she didn’t comply, court papers show.
The victim said she met Fredrickson online in 2009 and sent him nude photos.
Fredrickson told authorities he did have sex with the victim in May of 2011, according to court documents.

Fredrickson is also charged with one felony count of failure to register as a sex offender for not registering his social media accounts as required, court papers show.
Authorities have deemed Fredrickson a high risk to re-offend, and he's a lifetime registrant. In 2015, he was convicted in Clay County District Court of criminal sexual conduct, according to North Dakota records.
