A 48-year-old Fargo man faces charges of terrorizing after he threatened another man by pretending he had a gun.

According to Fargo police:

Christopher West of Fargo confronted another man about 3 p.m. Sunday near the Comfort Suites on the 1400 block of 35th Street South in Fargo.

West told the man, "I'm going to pop you," and motioned to the man as if he had a gun.

No weapon was retrieved during the incident, and police believe West was just making threats.

However, the other man truly believed his life was in danger, which resulted in West being charged with terrorizing.

It appears the men had a mutual girlfriend or ex-girlfriend, which might have prompted the dispute.
