FARGO - A Fargo man will spend more than a decade behind bars for possession of child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Fargo.

Damian Scott Olvera, 26, was sentenced in federal court on Monday, Sept. 10, to 15 years in prison on charges of possession of materials containing child pornography and receipt of materials containing child pornography, the office said.

Olvera will be under supervised release for 15 years following his prison sentence.

Law enforcement seized Olvera’s email account after it was discovered he uploaded images to the account that showed he victimized a female minor, the office said.

A search of the account revealed several files depicting the sexual exploitation of minors.
