Paul Jurgens, news director at Fargo's KFGO radio, is the new president of the North Dakota Associated Press Broadcasters Association.

Jurgens, who was elected by his peers to a one-year term, is joined by two other Fargo broadcasters. Mel Stone of KVLY-TV in Fargo was elected as the television representative on the NDAPB board. Jim Monk of WDAY radio was elected as the board's radio representative.

The association represents AP member stations in North Dakota.
