Fargo police arrested a car prowler overnight.

Sergeant Jeff Skuza says 18 year-old Joseph Charles Long was arrested around 3:00 a.m. in the area of 11th Avenue North and 19th Street.

Long is suspected of entering as many as nine unlocked vehicles and taking items such as sunglasses, CD's and a driver's license that had been left in one car.

Long is an NDSU student.

He's charged with theft and unlawful entry of a motor vehicle.
