Fargo police arrested two people Saturday in connection with a pair of armed robberies in which a knife was used.

In one case, a man told police he was approached by a male in the 3400 block of 31st Avenue South about 1:32 a.m. Saturday.

The suspect put a knife to the victim's stomach and demanded his wallet and cell phone. After he was given the items the assailant fled with an unknown female.

At about 4 a.m. Saturday, another man reported to police that about an hour prior he was sitting in a car talking to a female when a man entered the vehicle, put a knife to his throat and demanded his wallet.

The man told police he got away and later returned to get his vehicle. Nothing was taken from the victim.
