Fargo police arrested a high-risk sex offender Saturday afternoon who was wanted for violating his parole.

Police re-ceived a call about 4 p.m. Saturday that Joshua Thomas Keeping, 27, entered The Mental Health Association Social Club, 1419 1st Ave. S., Fargo, said Sgt. Mike Bernier.

Minutes later, police arrested Keeping without incident outside the facility.

Keeping was evicted from his north Fargo apartment and violated his probation by not updating police on his whereabouts, Bernier said.

An employee at the club recognized Keeping from news reports, police said.
