FARGO - Police here are investigating another copper theft, according to a WDAY News report.

The theft happened Monday night at Bergstrom Electric in North Fargo, the report said. Police believe the burglars broke in through the back door and used the company's own crane to steel hundreds of pounds of copper.

According to the report, copper prices have been increasing, which may be turning the metal into an enticing prize for thieves.

Police said they have a few leads but want local construction companies to be more proactive in protecting their property.
