FARGO - A Fargo South High School math teacher resigned last week after being accused of using improper language with students.

Timothy Dockter resigned effective April 5 after being approached by administrators about the allegations, School District spokesman Lowell Wolff said today.

Wolff said he did not know the nature of the language Dockter allegedly used, and because of the resignation, no further investigation took place.

"He may have resigned for totally unrelated reasons. We don't know," Wolff said. "It really didn't get enough traction to trigger any kind of investigation."

Dockter had been with the district since 1994, Wolff said.
