FARGO – Fargo Public Schools students won’t have to make up a recent snow day after all.
District officials emailed parents about the change, citing a review of North Dakota Century Code 15.1-27-23 as well as conversations with state education officials as the reason.
“Due to FPS having a longer than required school day at all academic levels, the March 5 school cancellation day does not have to be made up for FPS,” the email read.
Earlier this month, the district had said the March 5 snow day would be made up on Thursday, April 26. Instead, the recent email said there will be no school for all Fargo Public Schools on April 26.
