The Fargo Theatre passed its month-long goal to raise $31,000 by noon on Dec. 31. The organization raised $47,441.31 it announced in a press release Tuesday.
The campaign attracted 234 donors who chipped in as much as $2,500 a piece so the Theatre could meet its goal.
The money was needed to alleviate cash flow issues during an otherwise down year for donations, said Executive Director Margie Bailly.
