A scheduled power outage for some south Fargo homes was delayed until 10 a.m. Sept. 15 because of Monday's heavy rains.
Xcel Energy planned to disrupt power for two to four hours later this week for residents from 25th Avenue South to 32nd Avenue South and 15th Street South to 18th Street South as part of a maintenance project.
Residents were worried that without power, they wouldn't be able to use sump pumps to clear out storm waters.
