A 36-year-old Fargo man faces felony charges in Cass County District Court after being accused of sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl this summer.
A judge set Wilson Grant Paul's bail at $50,000 cash on Tuesday when Paul made an initial appearance on the two Class AA felony gross sexual imposition charges.
Court documents say:
Paul, 1208 1st Ave. N., told authorities he never touched the victim, now 10, or forced her to touch him, but said she may have seen him in various stages of undress.
The victim told authorities Paul touched her, forced her to touch him and made her watch pornographic movies. Paul told investigators he did not watch the movies with the victim, saying "I'm smarter than that."

Paul offered to take a polygraph exam regarding the allegations and failed.
