FERGUS FALLS, Minn. -- A 47-year-old man died Thursday morning when his van and a pickup collided here.
Peter Dahl of rural Fergus Falls was driving his pickup on Otter Tail County Highway 1, on the city's northeast side, when he collided with a van driven by Benjamin Formo, 24, of Fergus Falls, at 9:02 a.m., according to a press release issued by Fergus Falls Police Capt. Hugo McPhee.
The pickup driven by Dahl crossed the highway center line before hitting Formo's van, McPhee said.
Formo was taken to Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls. His injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
Both men were extricated from their vehicles. It was unclear whether either man was wearing a seat belt.

The crash remains under investigation. No other details were available Thursday.
