In conjunction with "Evita," the Fargo Theatre is hosting a four-day International Film and Food Festival.
The festival pairs contemporary and classic international films with meals from local chefs that complement the film's originating country.
Here's a brief look at festival events:
- May 12: Dinner at Juano's Restaurant, Fargo, followed by Spanish films "Like Water for Chocolate," 7 p.m., and "Broken Silence," 9:15 p.m.
- May 13: Scandinavian food prepared by Deb Jenkins at the Spirit Room, Fargo, followed by a Norwegian film "The Seventh Seal," 7 p.m., and a Finnish film "The River," 9 p.m.

- May 14: Italian dinner at Luigi's Restaurant, Fargo, followed by Italian films "The Bicycle Thief," 7 p.m., and "Almost America," 9 p.m.
- May 15: Food from Taste of India at the Spirit Room, followed by an Indian film, "The World of Apu," 7 p.m., and a Japanese film "Quartet," 9:15 p.m.
All films have English subtitles.
