A small fire caused about $10,000 in damage to the Ground Round Grill and Bar at 2902 13th Ave. S. in Fargo on Thursday afternoon.
Fire officials said an employee called the fire in around 1 p.m.
The fire was contained to a utility room where it is believed to have started.
Officials said the fire broke out after combustibles were placed too close to a gas-fired water heater.
The fire was not set intentionally.
