A fire Tuesday afternoon damaged the bedroom of an apartment unit in Casselton.
Firefighters responded to the blaze at about 4:15 p.m. and found smoke and fire in the bedroom of the four-plex building, said Tim McLean, Casselton's fire chief.
No one was home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, McLean said.
The Salvation Army was helping the displaced tenant find a place to stay Tuesday night, he said.
