FARGO - Fargo fire officials are investigating the cause of a fire about 4 p.m. Wednesday that damaged a third-floor balcony in an apartment complex at 4311 15th Ave. S.
Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene and were able to get the fire under control before it damaged other apartments. There is some ceiling damage to the third-floor balcony.
The south half of the apartment complex was evacuated, but residents are expected to be able to return by tonight except for those living in the damaged third-floor apartment and possibly the one below it.
There were no injuries.
