KINDRED -- A storage unit is a total loss after a fire in Kindred on Saturday, March 10th.
According to the Cass County Sheriff's Office, crews responded to 141 Rustad Drive in Kindred at around 10:15 am and found a storage unit on fire.
Crews were able to put out the fire by about 2 pm, but the building was a total loss.
The unit was managed by CHS Dakota Plains AG and held an empty fuel truck, pickup truck and a passenger vehicle; all of which were totalled.
Nobody was injured and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
