MOORHEAD - The grand opening of First Avenue North in Moorhead will be at 2 p.m. today.
Mayor Mark Voxland, Moorhead Public Service General Manager Bill Schwandt and council member Nancy Otto will address a group of First Avenue North business owners before the barricades are moved. The event will take be at the corner of First Avenue North and Eighth Street.
Many improvements have been made to First Avenue North, including burying power lines, installing new sidewalks and street lights, and landscaping.
