Susan Flom, Horace, was recognized as the outstanding health-care employee of the year by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Department of North Dakota, at their convention held recently in Bismarck.
Flom has provided more than 28 years of nursing practice to the Fargo VA Medical Center in ICU, medical and surgical nursing and most recently in the outpatient setting in the oncology clinic.
Her nomination has been forwarded to the VFW Washington office for the national competition.
