FM 105.1's 16th annual Christmas Wish program will hold its largest fundraiser of the year today.
The annual Wishburger Lunch is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in West Acres' west parking lot. Fargo firefighters grill the burgers from Prime Cut Meats, and other volunteers serve them. The meal will also include chips from Frito-Lay, Pepsi, Country Hearth Bread, cheese and condiments from Hardees and Kemps Ice Cream. A $5 donation is suggested for the lunch.
The program, supported solely by private contributions and fundraisers, has raised and distributed nearly $750,000 in 16 years for distribution to those in need during the holiday season.
