Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre honored actors and other volunteers at its recent fifth annual Emma Awards show.
Named after FMCT benefactor Emma K. Herbst, the Emma Awards are voted on by volunteers, patrons and the general public.
Honorees were:
- Best actor, Chris Boerner
- Best actress, Kellie Pifer

- Best featured actress, Aimee Klein
- Best actor in a smaller role, Chris Kuhn
- Best actress in a smaller role, Becky Barry
- Best cameo, Mark Voigtschild
- Best Silver Follies male, Jim Martin

- Best actor, Timothy Holston
- Best actress, Erin Hanson

In addition to the acting and technical awards, three special awards were given: The John Gifford Volunteer of the Year Award was presented to Teresa Hurt, The Aubrey Hook Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Marilyn Gorman, and The Ann Vander Maten Community Contribution Award was given to Karla Pederson for her work to provide specialized services for disabled patrons.
