GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- Testing for bacteria in the Grand Forks Air Force Base water supply continued Friday, and residents remained under orders to boil water or use bottled water for drinking.
The boil order has been in effect since Wednesday. Some earlier tests of the base water had indicated coliform bacteria, which is found in the soil, plants and animals. It can cause nausea or diarrhea.
