ST. PAUL (AP) -- Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter is coming to the Twin Cities in October to help two areas hit hard by foreclosures.
Carter and his wife, Rosalynn, will visit as part of a Habitat for Humanity project.
The group is coming from Oct. 4 to 8 to build or fix up 20 homes in north Minneapolis and on the east side of St. Paul.
The Twin Cities chapter of Habitat for Humanity and Mayors R.T. Rybak of Minneapolis and Chris Coleman of St. Paul announced the visit on Monday. They are due to outline details on Tuesday.
