MOORHEAD - A former white supremacist will speak at Minnesota State University Moorhead tonight at an event promoting diversity.

Tom "TJ" Leyden, who was a neo-Nazi white supremacist activist and recruiter for 15 years, will present "Turning Away from Hate."

He will speak at 7 tonight in the Comstock Memorial Union Ballroom.

Leyden covered his body in Nazi symbols, advocated for the death of Jews and recruited teenagers into the hate movement, but is now an advocate for the importance of diversity and cultural education.

Admission is free with a MSUM ID. For the general public, the suggested charitable donation for admission is $2.
