Foundation grants to benefit local arts

The Bush Foundation will give the Fargo Theatre $100,000 over the next three years for additional staff to complete its second cinema space and develop new events, among other efforts.

Northern Prairie Performing Arts, a professional touring company associated with the Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre, has been granted two years of funding, totaling $50,000, to complete its 2008 tour and to increase tour sites in the future.

The Bush Foundation is a grant maker with special focus on the needs of Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.
