FERGUS FALLS, Minn. – The Fergus Falls School District is expelling four students for an entire school year.
District officials say they can't elaborate the reason for the expulsions, but multiple sources tell Forum News Service that the students were using pellet guns near school property.
The district's attorney says the students agreed to the terms of their discipline and signed away their rights for further hearings. She also explained that officials are following the Pupil Fair Dismissal Act. The law requires alternative education during the year of expulsion.
