Free child care offered to sandbaggers Tuesday

Parents volunteering in Moorhead's sandbagging efforts Tuesday evening can receive free child care through a partnership with Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Parents volunteering in Moorhead's sandbagging efforts Tuesday evening can receive free child care through a partnership with Minnesota State University Moorhead.

"Kids Night Out" is free for volunteers' children, ages 7-12, from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at MSUM's Wellness Center, on 14th Street South between Ninth and Sixth avenues.

"Kids Night Out" normally costs $20, but vouchers will be provided to parents at the Moorhead sandbag site so the event fee can be reimbursed.

Children are encouraged to come with tennis shoes.
