Mental Health America of North Dakota will hold free education sessions on mental health issues from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Oct. 14, both at The Arc, 215 N. University Drive, Fargo.
"Building Connections to Support Recovery" will include topics on the causes of mental illness, brain basics, effective communication strategies, self-advocacy, the Americans with Disabilities Act and employment opportunities.
Both classes are for consumers of mental health services and family members.
