FARGO -- Friends of a Harwood mother who has inspired many in her courageous battle with cancer are making a plea for help.
Over the last two years, Merideth Sorensen has been fighting an aggressive form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Sorensen has been part of a trial study in Maryland, but her condition continues to worsen. By raising the money, friends say she can spend her final weeks with her family and friends at home.
Her friend, Hannah Erickson, is working to raise nearly $20,000 dollars to pay for a private medical flight to bring her home.
