FARGO — Fargo Firefighters responded to a call for a potential garage on fire on the 1100 block of 17th St N this morning.
The person renting the garage told officials they saw smoke coming from the closed garage at about 10:40 A.M. Upon arriving on scene and entering the garage, firefighters tells WDAY they saw flames and knocked them down in about 10 minutes.
They believe the fire began in the garage and went on damage the car inside the structure as well. No one was inside the garage at the time of the fire and no one is hurt. Firefighters tell WDAY there is little damage to the garage itself, but the vehicle inside has significant damage.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time as it is still under investigation.
