Gate City Bank in Fargo has donated more than $23,000 to help six area shelters and food pantries purchase food and equipment for their facilities.
The YWCA Cass Clay received a new kitchen sanitizer and washing machine.
The Dorothy Day House, Moorhead, received a new floor scale and floor cleaner. An additional donation was used to purchase food for the shelter.
Refrigerators were purchased for the Gladys Ray Shelter, Fargo, and the All Nations Food Pantry, West Fargo.
Freezers were purchased for the Mayville Portland (N.D.) Food Pantry and REACH in Hawley, Minn. An additional cash donation was made to each facility to enable them to purchase food.
