George Edward Weber, 78, of Fargo, died on Thursday, July 22, 2004, at Villa Maria Care Center, Fargo, ND.
George was born on March 1, 1926, to Martin H. and Agnes M. (Stienfort) Weber in Killdeer, ND. He attended elementary school in Rural Dunn County and graduated from Model High School at Dickinson State University in Dickinson, ND. In 1944, he was inducted into the Army where he served two years in the Pacific Theater of War. After being discharged, he attended North Dakota State University graduating in 1952. On December 3, 1950, he married Clarice Galbreath in Enderlin, ND. He then taught Veterans Agriculture Classes at Watford City and worked as County Supervisor for the Farmers Home Administration in Minot, Mott, and twenty-seven years in Bismarck. He retired to Fargo in 1983.
George was an active member of First Lutheran Church of Fargo, a member of the Disabled American Veterans, and a Lifetime member of the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Willard and Martin Weber, and one sister, Irene Scott.
George is survived by his wife, Clarice Weber of Fargo; three daughters, Georganne (Brian) Hoel of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; Barbara (Earle) Polk of Mound View, MN; and Jill (Al) Koshiol of Lino Lakes, MN; six grandchildren, James and David (Tanya) Hoel; Sam and Ben Polk; Peter and Maxine Koshiol; and one great-granddaughter, Taylene Hoel.

His passions in life were his family, his work, his grand kids, fishing and woodworking. He was a good and decent man who served his country in World War II. His brother-in-law said "He was the nicest man he had ever met".
