Gero C. Keller
Gero C. Keller, age 62, died suddenly from heart complications in Bullhead City, AZ, on May 19, 2004.
Gero was preceded in death by his father, Udo. He is survived by his mother, Gisela, Fargo; one brother, Ingo, Pelican Rapids, MN; two sisters, Carola of Lakeville, MN, and Uta of Sunnyvale, CA; two brothers-in-law, Robert and Michael; two nieces, Desiree and Anna (Patrick); and nephew, Christopher.
Gero Carl Keller was born on March 5, 1942 on his father's estate in Grenzdorf, Germany (formerly East Germany). He immigrated with his family to Frazee, Minnesota, and shortly thereafter moved to Fargo in June 1955. He was a graduate of Fargo High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Moorhead State University and his Masters degree in Guidance and Counseling from Bemidji, MN. In 1967, he began his career teaching high school German in Bemidji, and later switched to counseling. Upon retiring from the Menagha Public School District in June 2003, he moved to Bullhead City, AZ, where he was employed as a counselor by the local school district. Gero was a compassionate educator who treated every student fairly and with respect.
He was an avid tennis player, often playing up to four hours a day; he also jogged five miles a day. He loved being outdoors, soaking up the sun.

Gero touched a lot of people and was loved and admired by many friends and family. He, and his enthusiasm for life, will be greatly missed.
Memorials are preferred to the charity of your choice.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2004, in Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. A reception will be held immediately following the service.
