The United Republican Committee of Fargo is announcing two election-related events taking place this week.
- The committee is holding a pre-election rally from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the party's Fargo headquarters, 1622 Main Ave.
North Dakota Gov. John Hoeven and other statewide candidates will appear at the event being held to support those running for public office from the national to local levels, a news release said.
- There will be an election night party starting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Fargo's Holiday Inn, 3803 13th Ave. S. There is a $5 charge for the event.
North Dakota Lt. Gov. Jack Dalrymple and state Public Service Commission candidate Brian Kalk will be at the party along with other regional candidates.
