Governors urge action on drug importation

BISMARCK - Gov. John Hoeven and seven other governors on Monday sent a letter to congressional leaders, urging Congress to pass legislation allowing the importation of drugs from Canada and other industrialized nations.

BISMARCK - Gov. John Hoeven and seven other governors on Monday sent a letter to congressional leaders, urging Congress to pass legislation allowing the importation of drugs from Canada and other industrialized nations.

The letter - also signed by the governors of Minnesota, New Hampshire, Illinois, Wisconsin, Vermont, Iowa and West Virginia - requested action before the end of the year.
