GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) -- One of Grand Forks' premier arts venues has ousted its executive director.

The Empire Arts Center board replaced Mark Landa with Cathy Foy, a Grand Forks native and former employee of Ecolab.

Landa said he was let go because of differences he had with the board on such matters as priorities for the center. He had been the director for more than six years.
