More than 270 business and civic leaders in the South Fargo area will be "locked up" Aug. 23 until they raise enough money to earn their way out of the mock jail.

The participants will "serve" time between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Aug. 23 at the Holiday Inn in Fargo in the Muscular Dystrophy Association's mock jail. The national health agency works for a cure and treatment of neuromuscular diseases.

Each participant of the "Most Wanted" lock up will have to raise a $1,200 "bail" before they're released.

The light-humored fundraising event will benefit local patient services for those living with muscular dystrophy in South Fargo.
