GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- A group at the University of North Dakota is gathering care packages for students deployed overseas with the military.
The Operation UND Campus Friends is collecting items from toiletries to phone cards to send to the troops for St. Patrick's Day.
Officials say about 155 of the school's student soldiers are on active duty. That includes 45 students called up in the past few months.
The student group was formed last year to support UND students who have been deployed.
