Habitat fundraiser event set today

The Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity is holding its fifth annual Tour de Habitat Stationary Bike Race at 1 p.m. today at the YMCA in downtown Fargo.

The Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity is holding its fifth annual Tour de Habitat Stationary Bike Race at 1 p.m. today at the YMCA in downtown Fargo.

In this year's race, there will be 22 teams of six riders riding stationary bikes for 15-minute intervals with a 5-minute break, allowing for change of rider, a news release stated.

Coordinators hope to raise $30,000 to eliminate substandard housing.

This event is the largest fundraiser for the local Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity affiliate.
