HALWEY, Minn. - A prescription drug drop-off and disposal program is scheduled here on Saturday.
Partnering with the Clay County Sheriff's Office, the Hawley Police Department will take any controlled or non-controlled drugs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Police Department lobby, Clay County Sheriff Bill Bergquist stated in a news release.
Pills can be deposited directly into the disposal box, but liquid products should remain in original containers.
Neither intravenous solutions no syringes will be accepted.
