Jensen was originally charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

According to Clay County District Court documents:

The victim told police she used a cell phone to text message a friend for help when Jensen began sexually assaulting her.

Jensen noticed the phone and took it from the woman.

While the woman was driving to the hospital after the incident, she received a text message from Jensen saying, "I'm sorry."

Jensen said in court Monday that he was extremely intoxicated at the time of the incident.
