In response to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act signed into law March 23, the North Dakota Insurance Department website, http://www.nd.gov/ndins/ , now includes information about the new health care reform law and how it will affect North Dakotans.
The site features frequently asked questions aimed at helping consumers and business owners understand the new law. There is also a timeline showing the implementations scheduled to take place over the next nine years.
Many details regarding the new law are not yet available, but as the department learns more, the information on the website will change.
