MOORHEAD — Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is inviting Minnesotans to sew protective face masks to protect against sneezes and coughs in order to help safeguard people supported by the organization, employees, volunteers and the greater community.

Visit www.lssmn.org/sewmasks for information about patterns to use and where to mail or drop off masks.

Currently, all masks can be mailed to the LSS State Center, Attn: Operation Masks, at 2485 Como Avenue in St. Paul, Minn., 55108.

A drop-off location is available from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3101 Frontage Road South in Moorhead. Drop-off locations have also been established in Bemidji, Brainerd, Duluth, Fergus Falls, Mankato, Rochester, St. Cloud, St. Paul and Willmar.
