Recently silenced conservative radio talk show host Scott Hennen told The Forum on Friday that he'll return to local airwaves within a week.
Hennen said he's contemplating three job offers in the Fargo-Moorhead market but wouldn't disclose specifics.
Hennen broke his silence two days after being fired from his position as president and CEO of Great Plains Integrated Marketing Inc., which owns The Flag-AM 1100, where Hennen had hosted a talk show for two years.
Hennen and a group of investors established The Flag in 2008.
"I reached an impasse with my investor group regarding the best path forward for my show, our radio stations and websites," Hennen wrote on his website Friday. "Currently I am exploring several exciting options about the future of the Scott Hennen Show and our Common Sense Club. I am pleased to announce that I will be returning to the airwaves within the next week."

Hennen told The Forum that he's weighing his next move based on what's best for his family.
Meanwhile, more evidence surfaced Friday that may put to rest speculation that Hennen's dismissal was due to impropriety on his behalf.
Breck Von Bank, The Flag's general sales manager, acknowledged Thursday she'd fielded calls and questions about such rumors circulating in the community and said she was "baffled" by them.
Station management apparently sought to address the situation with employees of The Flag on Friday, according to an internal e-mail obtained by The Forum.
"We also want to mention that some of you may have been hearing certain rumors circulating about a possible investigation regarding theft/embezzle-ment during Scott's employment with GPIM," the e-mail stated. "This is certainly not the case. We personally want to assure that no such investigation is taking place and that they are just that, rumors."
Hennen also commented on the rumors of impropriety, telling The Forum: "There's not one centillion of truth to those allegations."
