Herman A. Moeller Jr., 68, of Detroit Lakes, MN, died Tuesday, October 21, 2003, at Innovis Hospital, Fargo.
Herman A. Moeller was born on March 1, 1935, to Herman and Gertrude Meyer Moeller in Fairmont, ND. He grew up and attended school there. He graduated from Campbell High School in 1953. He then farmed the family farm. On October 10, 1954, he married Gloria Erdahl in Nashua, MN. He then served in the United States Air Force from 1955-1963. He was stationed in Charelston, SC, and Tacoma, WA. They moved to Detroit Lakes, MN in 1963, where he operated a Shell Gas Station. In 1968, he went to work for Grover Lindberg of Detroit Lakes as a Bulk Fuel Distributor. He worked there until 1993, when he started working for Cenex in Lake Park, MN. He retired from there in 1998. He was currently driving School Bus for Schultz Bus Company of Detroit Lakes. He is a member of the American Legion and the Eagles. He was an avid bowler and card player, and an active member of Zion Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria; one son, Jeff (Melanie) of North Bend, OR; four daughters, Terry (Donald) Elliott, of Galesburg, ND, Jackie (Bob) Jenson, of Detroit Lakes, ND, Kathy (Chad) Kussatz, of Pierre, SD, Kristy (Bob) Hovanek, of Lake Park, MN; eleven grandchildren; four sisters, Evelyn (Arnold) Raguse, of Wheaton, MN, Luella Brennen, of San Diego, CA, Angie (Sam) Juvick, of Great Falls, MT, Leila (Al) Shaw, of Boise, ID.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Lorraine Moeller.
Visitation: Thursday, 5:00-8:00 PM, at the West-Kjos Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the Church.
Funeral: Friday, October 24, 2003, at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church, Detroit Lakes, MN.
Interment: Oak Grove Cemetery, Detroit Lakes, MN.
